RIYADH: The Kuwaiti News Agency reported that Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his Omani counterpart Badr Al-Busaidi presided over the ninth session of the Kuwaiti-Omani joint committee meetings on Sunday in Muscat.
Issues relating to the economy, development, culture, and the environment were among those discussed by the two ministers and their respective delegations.
They discussed potential new avenues of collaboration and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering improved ties between the two nations.
Agreement on executive programs in the areas of diplomatic studies and training, higher education, competition protection and monopoly prevention, environmental protection, and developing industrial exports were reached over the course of the two-day event, which saw the signing of five memorandums of understanding.
