Indonesia supports Saudi Arabia’s candidacy for the 2030 World Expo. The visit of Prince Faisal bin Farhan
During a visit to Indonesia on Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister met with Indonesia’s president and foreign minister.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Joko Widodo discussed bilateral ties and measures to improve collaboration between the Kingdom and Indonesia in a variety of fields.

The Saudi foreign minister thanked Indonesia for supporting the Kingdom’s quest to host Expo 2030 and wished the country luck in hosting the G20 Leaders’ Summit 2022, which will take place in Bali in mid-November.

Widodo received the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as well as their best wishes for Indonesia’s continued progress and prosperity.

The president conveyed his gratitude to the monarch and crown prince and sent congratulations to them.

The two ministers stressed the depth of links between the Kingdom and Indonesia.) Prince Faisal also met with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudi.

They also underlined their countries’ desire to strengthen and grow connections in a variety of spheres in order to achieve mutual goals.
In view of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and to enhance political and economic cooperation, a round of talks was held to discuss measures to strengthen the economic collaboration between the two countries.

The officials also talked about improving bilateral coordination on regional and international matters of mutual concern, as well as supporting all efforts to improve international peace and security.

On Tuesday, Prince Faisal will meet with his Indonesian counterpart, Retno Marsudi, in Jakarta. (SPA)
