RAMSTEIN, DEUTSCHLAND: All NATO allies have agreed that Ukraine will eventually join the alliance, but the priority now is to assure the country’s victory over Russia, according to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Friday.
He also told reporters, before of a meeting of the Ukraine defense contact group at the Ramstein air base in Germany, that once the war in Ukraine is over, Kyiv must have “the deterrence to prevent new attacks.”
