The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, is expected to pass a law that will have 13 members of parliament in the Benadir region, home to 4 million people.
The delegation was approved by the Federal Parliament following a request from the President of Somalia
The law representing the Benadir region is required to be signed by the President of the country as it has the final approval.
Farmajo has been embroiled in controversy over the law, according to lawmakers campaigning for it.
There is no indication that this will be signed by the President as there are other political challenges.
