President Farmajo still clinging to PM nomination

0

President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has not appointed a new Prime Minister for a month and 10 days and this time he has reduced the division of power among the clans.

The president has been criticized for not sharing power-sharing at the moment as he is currently the president and prime minister, in violation of the Carte Conference agreement reached between the four and a half tribes.

Farmajo now appears to be someone he trusts in the post and he is apparently unable to even nominate himself as he is currently working with lawmakers who ousted former Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheyre.

However, the government now appears to be in the hands of an individual who lacks the system agreed upon by the Somalis in 2000.
