Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with a number of Mexican officials during a visit to the country.
He met with teammate Marcelo Ebrard in Mexico City on Monday.
The two discussed efforts to coordinate the interests of their nations.
They also praised Saudi Arabia and Mexico’s efforts to ensure global security and to stop the spread of weapons that threaten people worldwide.
Prince Faisal also met with Energy Secretary Rocío Nahle. They discussed improving investment opportunities in a number of sectors and the two countries’ efforts to stabilize energy markets.
Prince Faisal also held meetings with Mexican Foreign Council President Sergio M. Alcocer and Mexican Senate President Olga Sánchez Cordero.
Saudi Arabia’s top official, on a trip to Latin America, arrived in Brazil on Thursday to meet with officials in Brasilia and then opened a new state embassy building on Friday.
