Minister of Special Duties George Akume, has called on his people to work for peace and unity, warning that their country will be the same or worse than Somalia, which has been in a state of disarray for nearly half a century. described as chaos.
“We cannot play with the peace and unity we have, otherwise we will be worse off in Somalia,” said George Akuma.
This is not the first time that a local official has violated Somalia, calling it a corrupt country. It was in 2015 when Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari, speaking to the people of his country in Johansberg, South Africa, described Somalis as Muslims, now educated people who put their own interests ahead of the common good.
“I fear that Nigeria, like Somalia, will collapse and lose out,” Buhari said. It is said that there are people who are angry at the bad example of their country, who are wondering who should respond to those who are tarnishing their image, while on the other hand there are people who think it is right to warn Somalis once its people do not recognize their interests.
